Ashlyn Tu-Tygrs, Audiology Assistant
Ashlyn is another Boise native in our office. Most of her family lives here or in Washington state. She spent most of her life here but did spend a few years in Bellingham, Washington going to college. While there she worked with disabled adults, helping them with their day to day and all other aspects of their life. She is a natural caretaker, which is evident through her two wonderful kids, Nova and Calvin.
Nova is currently 4 and is attending Preschool at Riverstone where she is friends with everyone, including the teachers! Calvin is almost 2, and while he may not be as chatty as Nova, he already has a passion for dancing. The newest addition to the family is an adopted, 4-year-old, orange tabby cat named Hobbs. Because you can't have Calvin without Hobbs!
Before Audiology, Ashlyn worked as a server in Boise where she met and quickly became friends with Dr. Olsen's daughter Tessa. They have been inseparable since. She left the restaurant industry behind and worked to become a certified esthetician working in downtown Boise. She thrives in whatever environment she is in.
Ashlyn has been with us for 2 years now and absolutely loves her job. Starting as a patient care coordinator at the front desk, she mastered the ins and outs of an Audiology office and worked her way up to be our amazing Audiology Assistant. She is currently studying to get her Hearing Instrument Specialist certification so she can continue to learn and grow in the field and provide even more care and services to all our patients!
Ashlyn got married to the love of her life Cameron in 2021. Cam owns and operates his own painting business called EQP Services. He leads a small crew and takes on jobs all over the treasure valley (And does amazing work too!).
When she is not working or studying, she enjoys spending her time outdoors with Cameron and their 2 young kiddos. Ashlyn's family are avid skiers and Nova is learning to tear it up on the slopes already! She loves to go camping and spend days out on the lake with her friends and family.
Ashlyn is passionate, loves fiercely, and overcomes any challenge that is put in front of her. She is such an important addition to our Audiology family, and we are thankful to have her here. We are looking forward to seeing her develop and grow her career with us!
